Heat will be shut down for 48 hrs (3/29 to 3/31) in Library and other buildings

Heating Plant Shutdown Notice – Emergency Repairs from 3/29 12PM – 3/31 12/PM

The campus heating system will be shutdown for a period of 48-hrs beginning tomorrow 3/29/11 at 12PM and ending at 12PM on 3/31/11.  The shutdown is required to allow for repairs to a steam leak in the south utilities tunnel.  Campus buildings on the main heating system will experience a gradual loss of heat beginning at 12PM tomorrow, 3/29.  The heating system will return to normal operation by 12PM on Thursday 3/31.  This includes the library!

The following buildings will not be affected; Administration, Human Resources, Capital Facilities, Butler-Children’s Center, Fort Awesome, Outback and Alumni Village.

Outside temperatures are forecasted to be a high of 48-deg and low of 33-deg.  Please dress accordingly.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
