24/5 Hours Begin!

Starting today, Tues. May 1, the Library will be open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week for finals period.

During this period, the Library will be open continuously Sundays at noon through Fridays at midnight.  On Saturdays, we will be open from noon to midnight.  24/5 hours will be in effect for the remainder of the semester, ending Tues., May 15 at 11:00pm.  For details, see our hours page.

Please note that not all services (i.e.: reference desk, Text Us, Special Collections, etc.) will be available during our extended late-night hours. However, you can look for answers in our online Library FAQs or get help from a real, live librarian around the clock with our Ask Us 24/7 Chat Service.

We also ask for everyone’s help respecting the Quiet Zones and keeping the Library clean of trash and litter. Our staff will do what we can to police the quiet areas and clean up messes, but we need the help of the entire community to keep the Library comfortable and clean for everyone during finals week.
