You’re busy with final papers, senior projects, and studying for exams…but May is also a busy time on campus. It’s important to take a study break now and then, so here are a few refreshing events to give you a breather during the last week of classes and finals week.
- Italics Mine Lit Mag launch party: Relax with poetry! Celebrate the eleventh edition of Italics Mine at a launch party on Wednesday, May 4, from 6 to 7:30 pm in the Buffer Room of the Admissions building (first floor). There will be refreshments, readings by contributors, the awarding of prizes in our poetry and fiction contests, and copies of Purchase’s literary magazine for sale.
- Rejuvenation Station: Relax with massage! The Wellness Center invites you to relax and de-stress with free massages, biofeedback exercises, and thai yoga at Rejuvenation Station on Thursday May 5 from 12-2 in the CCSouth Lobby.
- Juice Bar in the Gym: Relax with juice! Stop by Dribbles Gym this week for fresh & healthy veggie juices! Wednesday 11:30-1:30 and Thursday 5-7:30. Only $2.00.
- Art of the Book Exhibit at the Library: Relax with art! You don’t have to leave the library to take a break. Head to the 2nd floor and check out “Bruler Les Livres,” an exhibition of student artwork from the Art of the Book class. It gives “hitting the books” a new meaning…
