Description of the book:  “A memoir about growing up in a family of extreme hoarders describes how the author’s childhood home in Long Island hid rat-infested stacks of her father’s collections and how the family’s emotional burden led to the author’s suicide attempt and her against-all-odds bond with her parents.”  -NPR.org

To learn more, listen to an interview with Kim Miller on NPR’s “Tell Me More” that aired in July 2013.
