The Library invites you to our Fall Book Sale!  In honor of the season, why not pick up some leisure reading?  A classic novel in paperback?  An art book for only $3?  Donations or older books the Library cannot use in our collections go in the book sale and get passed on to you for between $1 and $3 per book.  Stop by the Library on your way to class or to lunch and browse our sale.  We’re also selling vinyl LPs and CDs.

The book sale takes place between 10am and 4pm on Thursday and Friday and will be held inside the Library on the first floor.

The Library invites you to our Spring Book Sale on Thursday April 30th and Friday May 1st 10am to 4pm!  In honor of the season, why not pick up some leisure reading?  A classic novel in paperback?  An art book?  Some light beach reading? Donations that the Library cannot use in our collections go in the book sale and get passed on to you for between $1 and $3 per book. We’re also selling vinyl for $1 each. Stop by the Library on your way to class or to lunch and browse our sale.

This year’s book sale was made possible by the many donations the Library received from faculty, staff, community members, and the Book Store. Thanks to the entire Purchase community for making this happen!

The book sale takes place between 10am and 4pm on Thursday and Friday and will be held on the plaza in front of the Library, weather permitting.  Rain location is inside the Library on the first floor.

The Library will have its first Vinyl Blowout sale:

Friday March 15, 10am-4pm

We have thousands of LPs ranging from classical to orchestral, opera box sets, Broadway shows, ballet, vocal performances of arias & lieder & folk songs, pop/rock, spoken word & sound effects, and mysterious “white albums,” plus music-related books and scores.

All priced from $1-$5.

The sale will be held in the Library on the first floor in front of the reference desk.

In celebration of Junior Day, the Library invites you to stop by our Spring book sale.  The sale will take place between 10:00am and 4:00pm on the plaza in front of the Library. At $1.00 per book, you’ll find some great deals on leisure reading, used books, and more!

Juniors, this is also an excellent time for you to come say hello to a librarian and make an appointment for research help. We’ll have a sign-up sheet for juniors to make appointments with reference librarians to discuss and prepare for your senior project research.

TODAY: Book Sale indoors!

Today’s annual library Book Sale will be held INDOORS due to inclement weather.  Stop by to browse and buy books on the first floor of the library, right in front of the reference/information desk!   The book sale will continue until 4:30pm today, Wed. April 19th and tomorrow, Thurs. April 20th from 9:30am to 4:30pm.

While you’re at it, take a look at books published by Purchase College faculty members (to peruse… not for sale).  The faculty publications shelf is located right next to the Book Sale.
